Free Animal Number Puzzles for Kids

I'll confess. Sometimes I get inspired by a product that I buy for my daughters and I use that idea to come up with a printable activity. In this case, I bought a great pack of Princess sticker puzzles from Michael's. I thought it was such a great idea to practice numbers, so I made a few animal themed cut & paste number puzzles to share with you! Sure, not as much fun as stickers, but just as educational!

Free Animal Number Puzzles for Kids

These FREE Animal themed Number Puzzles come in two levels of difficulty. One set includes numbers 1-16  and another set includes number 1-32. Use whichever puzzles suit your child's skill level.

Just cut the images along the grid lines, shuffle the pieces and give to your child to glue to the blank grid sheet. For added challenge, have the child cut out the puzzle pieces!

Matching Animal Halves Printable Activity (Love to Learn Linky #13)

Animal activities are always a big hit at our house! This printable matching activity is geared toward toddlers and is great for language and visual development. Find the matching half of each animal to create the whole.

For toddlers I always recommend laminating both sheets, cutting out the pieces on the second page, and using velcro to attach the loose pieces. This gives you a nice reusable activity that your child can do over and over again. For preschoolers, this can be a cut and paste activity.

Here are a few more animal printable activities:

Matching Mother & Baby Animals This activity can be done along side the classic book Are you my Mother?

Animal Sorting/Classifying is a free printable activity I made exclusively for The Happy Housewife.
